.you have the best job.

Happy Happy Saturday! This week flew by for me seeing that I was gone for 3 days in Sanford for a training. I went to school on Monday, left for 3 days and returned on Friday. A nice break indeed but the mayhem when I returned can drive a girl out of her mind. The kids were great- it's all the paperwork, plans, report cards, centers, etc I was trying to get done. I brought home about 8 hrs of work to do this weekend. So for people who like to say, "oo you have the best job- summers off, you get out at 2:30" will you please come over here so I can punch you in the nose. :) I can't remember the last time I didn't bring work home for either a school night or the weekend. I'm going to make a goal to try not to do work on Saturdays and only for a couple hours MAX on Sundays. This will help me relax and feel pumped up and refreshed for the week.

BTW- will North Carolina please decide if you prefer to be cool or warm and muggy. I do not like feeling confused as to what I should wear.

Enjoy your weekend- since I can't post without a picture...check out this pretty gal. She even put on a bow to impress ya'll. ;) I LOVE BOOTS.

.Tom and Kelly E-Session.

Ryan and I woke up this morning and were able to watch the sunrise as we ventured out to SouthEnd Charlotte where Tom and Kelly live. We froze our tails off but they were both great and the pictures below were definitely worth the cold weather. :)

Tom and Kelly are getting married in September and I can hardly wait to see what she has in store. So far, pink shoes, black dresses and that's all I need to hear to be hooked.

Enjoy your sneak peak below and I can't wait to hear all about the couples retreat. ;)

.pumpkin.

.my heart skips a beat when I hear the word pumpkin for many different reason. I love fall, could eat an entire pumpkin pie on my own, moist pumpkin bars make me lick my lips chapped, and saving the best for last the little gray doggie dressed up in his pumpkin shirt. He gets excited when he gets a new t-shirt to sport- maybe because they keep him warm, or he just feels like a stud- all GQ and ready to hit the street flaunting his hotness. I like to believe the second hypothesis because that's how I feel when I am wearing something new. :)

I know he's too cute! Go ahead- kiss the screen. He doesnt mind and I won't tell. :)

.paw baby.

well folks, it's finally here- Satuday! :) I want to start a new week rule...We need a Saturday on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. Therefore, we only have Tuesday and Thursdays with "things to do". Isn't it a marvelous idea?

I generally have marvelous ideas that are more like out of this world wishes that will never come true and leave me in utter dissapoint, but I voice them anyways because at the time they make me happy. :) So at this time it makes me happy to think that my new week rule could come true...someday!

This morning I had a not so marvelous idea...scheduling a haircut appointment at 8am. Meaning I needed to get up at 6:45am on a SATURDAY. Whew- now at 10:45am I am in need of a nap.

Check out my son below he is 92 months old. :) I had to do that because once a child hits 2 please stop telling me how old they are in months. Tell me in YEARS. I can't figure out the months quick enough and just nod and say "how cute!" Plus its just annoying-a 2 and 1/2 year old is 2 and 1/2 not 30 something odd months...weirdo!

Enjoy your Saturday!:)

until next time,

V :)
